ifilm English to air ‘Ahoo of the Ninth Month’

Iranian series ‘Ahoo of the Ninth Month’ is set to be aired on ifilm English TV, the website for the channel has reported.

The series, directed by Masoud Navvabi and produced by Ali Ladoni, starts on Thursday, March 2, 2017.

‘Ahoo of the Ninth Month’ depicts a sliver of a girl’s life by the name of Ahoo. Delving into her vague past to find some clues, she goes to the village where she lived during her childhood. She meets an old village resident who has lived in the same village and finds him as a bridge to her past.

Notable among the cast are Faqiheh Soltani, Ali Asghar Hemmat, Anahita Hemmati, Nasser Gitijah, Rambod Shekarabi, Mehdi Faqih, Zohreh Hamidi and Roya Afshar.

‘Ahoo of the Ninth Month’, made in 2003, is scheduled to replace ‘The Cloudy Years’, which will air daily at 23:00 GMT (03:30 Tehran time).

ifilm English will also repeat each episode of the social drama on the next day at 05:00, 11:00 and 17:00 (all GMT times). The series comprises 17 episodes.
